At the heart of my practice is a sense of confusion—not as something to be resolved, but as a space to inhabit. My works reflect the dissonance of navigating the world, while also suggesting that tension can become an anchor. They serve as milestones, bridges, satellites, buoys, anchors, and temporary shelters. They are repeated gestures of sending out skipping stones or signals to find comfort within flux—or vice versa—creating psychological refuges where motion subsides.
Through drawings, sculptures, installations, and artist books, I weave together safer, more familiar resting hideouts within fleeting spaces. My practice seeks in-betweenness, toward the possibility of security in the very absence of it.
Moving between flat images and physical forms, I construct a dialogue between the pictorial and the sculptural. My drawings function as speculative blueprints, and my objects react as tangible manifestations. This reciprocation is not only formal but conceptual, reflecting place-making as a personal, often precarious act. Through surreal storytelling, symbolic forms, and quiet signals, I invite the audience to take a long, slow look at what is short-lived and deeply human.
